As community business leaders, it is our duty to protect our business, our business reputations, staff and community from being exposed to a cyber threat. Join fellow chamber members and local celebrities to discuss how to best challenge your security levels and protect your business day in and day out against a cyber threat.
Presenters will include:
Jim Darga, Director of the Pinckney Cyber Training Institute and Sentinel Center
Dr. Joe Adams, Vice President of the Pinckney Cyber Training Institute and Sentinel Center and Vice President of Research for Merit Network. Dr. Adams shares his experience from an accomplished knowledgebase, including retiring from a 26 year career in the US Army where he earned the rank of Colonel, served as a professor and research scientist at West Point, is a former Chief Information Officer of the National Defense University and a Network Engineer for the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's Allied Command Operations.
Pinckney Cyber Training Institute (CTI) and Sentinel Center that officially opened in late 2016. The Center is now a hub on the Michigan Cyber Range, supported by the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Workforce Intelligence Network, Michigan WORKS! and the Merit Network.
