Howell chamber networking event connects businesses in Movember
ChamberConnect, a business connections program of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held Wednesday, November 5 from 3:45-5 p.m. at Moe's BarBar Shop, 106 E. Grand River Ave. in Howell 48843. The event is sponsored by Michigan Urgent Care and Occupational Health - Brighton.
November is Movember when men across the world grow mustaches (Mo) to spark conversation about the importance of men's health.
ChamberConnect's Movember event will discuss men's health and planning for a healthy holiday season. Grow a Mo for photos. No Mo? No problem. There will be photo props for camera fun, appetizers, drink specials, giveaways and a drawing for Moe's BarBar Shop gift cards.
The cost is $10 for chamber members, $25 for non-members and includes light refreshments and door prizes.

The business case for renewable energy in Michigan is the topic of the November 11 Good Morning Livingston program. David Harwood, director of renewable energy at DTE, will also provide attendees with the latest information on what the state is generating in renewable energy, including wind, solar, biomass and more.
The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at Crystal Gardens - Livingston, 5768 E. Grand River Ave. in Howell.
