The 2016 season of the Howell Sunday Farmers’ Market gets under way Sunday, May 1, and runs every Sunday through Oct. 30, featuring locally grown produce, handmade goodies from 50 vendors and live entertainment.

Howell's Sunday Farmers' Market is celebrating its 23rd year.

Visitors and residents enjoy the finest in locally grown produce, bedding plants, flowers, homemade goods and crafts, all set against the backdrop of the Livingston County Courthouse and historic downtown Howell. Weekly entertainment and the energetic downtown ambience have helped create a “mini-festival” atmosphere at the market.

    Honey and maple syrup
    Perennials and annuals
    Potted trees and shrubs
    Farm fresh eggs
    Fresh, pasture-raised poultry
    Heirloom plants
    USDA organic grass-fed beef & pork

Anyone ready to launch a business as a sole proprietor or LLC, or anyone who has been putting off the paperwork needs to attend “Forming Your LLC or DBA, Do It Now!”

The workshop, hosted by the Small Business Development Center in partnership with LegUP!, will have a business attorney walk you through the necessary documents needed to form and register a business, including articles of incorporation and Employee Identification Number.
