The Company
The Buckley Jolley Real Estate Team, the leading agency in Livingston County, is looking to hire a new Administrative Assistant to help the team meet its growing demands. The office is located in the heart of downtown Brighton and is always a hub of activity with team members and clients alike.

The Position
This is a permanent and full-time position, located in Brighton. The Administrative Assistant will maintain a schedule that supports the needs of the business. The Company desires an alternating weekly schedule, in which the Administrative Assistant alternates between a work week of Monday-Friday, followed by a week of Tuesday-Saturday. Hours of operation are as follows: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-6pm, Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 9am-6pm.
 
The newest team member will enthusiastically act as the face of the agency, as well as support the internal team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting guests, giving excellent customer service, responding to inbound phone calls, marketing support and social media updates, updating client records and files, supporting the business owner, and generally being a Jack or Jill-of-All Trades.  Given the nature of the position, the job also requires solid teamwork and the unique ability to effectively communicate, as portions of the job entail job-share duties.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • At least one year of experience in an office environment handling administrative duties
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities
  • Customer and Team-focused attitude and willingness to help
 Compensation
The starting hourly rate for this position is between $12 and $13 per hour, depending on experience, skills and abilities. The Company also offers additional perks, including paid time off and healthcare options.
 
The Recruitment Process
The hiring process will include a phone screen, at least two in-person interviews, candidate assessments, and a pre-employment background check and drug test.
