I have been practicing architecture since 1980, on projects encompassing a wide range of building types.
I started out as part of the first generation of solar architects and have maintained my interest in low energy environmentally friendly design ever since. My interest in reusing existing buildings has led in several directions.
One is historic 19th and early 20th century buildings. My office is located in downtown Howell, and I have assisted in the renovations of many of the buildings in the historic district of Howell, as well as other communities.
A second area of expertise is helping homeowners renovate, expand or reimaging their existing homes. The projects range from new front porches to complete reconstruction.
Passive solar and low energy buildings, renovation of historic building, renovations and reimagining existing houses, commercial leasespaces, medical offices and restaurants
