About Us

Work Skills Corporation (WSC), headquartered in Brighton, is a multi-faceted 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to the individuals, families and communities it serves. WSC has provided services to people with disabilities and other barriers for nearly 50 years.

During that time, WSC’s scope of services has expanded in response to unmet community needs. The WSC family of companies currently offers a person-centered, strength-based approach to education, training, behavioral therapy, residential living, vocational development, job placement and home health care.

The WSC team has the training, experience, expertise and compassion needed to help individuals with disabilities live their best lives. Corporately WSC focuses on each person’s abilities rather than his or her disabilities. This philosophy has contributed to its reputation as a successful and well-respected organization.

All WSC ventures have a central focus of encouraging people to change their own situation in life. Helping them overcome barriers to self-sufficiency, whether real or perceived, has proven to be the most impactful way for them to live successful and meaningful lives.
