Mental Health in the Workplace
Presented by St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital
May is mental health month and the Howell Chamber has partnered with St. Joe's to bring awareness to the impact of mental health in the workplace.
Dr. Stephanie Hillebrand from St. Joseph Mercy Behavioral Health Services will present on stress in the workplace. The presentation will bring awareness to the causes of stress, the physical and psychological impacts of stress, and the difference between healthy and unhealthy ways to cope with stress. This presentation will also provide techniques for employers and employees to recognize stress in the workplace, as well as strategies and interventions for effectively dealing with stress.
Dr. Hillebrand is a Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Hillebrand graduated from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology with a Master of Arts Degree in 2007 and a Doctor of Psychology Degree in 2011, both with a focus on clinical and humanistic therapy. She has since been certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dr. Hillebrand works in outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults who suffer with symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other forms of mental health issues.
Lunch will be provided by St. Joseph Mercy Livingston. Cost for the program is $10 for members and non-members.
