Architecture Firm - Office Manager/Administrator

Lindhout Associates Architects, Brighton MI, is seeking an Office Manager/Administrator with strong leadership qualities to work closely with the team members to ensure aspects of the practice from financial to client/vendor flow are running smoothly.  As the "go-to" person in the office, being organized, experienced in accounts payable and accounting while being a positive hard-working individual is vital to the team. Project knowledge is ideal as utilization of job costing software is integral to the position.

Job Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing accounts payable for the practice
  • Creating, balancing and analyzing monthly/yearly practice and financial reports
  • Reconciling bank and credit statements
  • Administering payroll operations including contributions of HSA/SEP
  • Overseeing collections and aged claims
  • Monitoring office equipment supplies & maintenance
  • Remitting monthly/quarterly/annual federal & state taxes/withholdings
  • Completion of annual WC Audit
  • Maintaining positive relationships with vendors
  • Answering phones and directing calls
  • Office Supplies ordering  
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Associate’s degree in business and/or finance or accounting or relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping in QuickBooks
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Computer, technical and math proficiency
  • Passion for customer service
  • Maturity, tact, integrity, honesty and confidentiality

Pay: $58K - $70K annual salary, based on your background and level of experience, with supplemental profit-sharing opportunities.

Work Location: In-person Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
