Cleary University recognized as a top school in the US for veterans
(HOWELL, MI) The Michigan Veterans Affair Agency (MVAA) has recognized Cleary University as a Gold Level Veteran-Friendly School (VFS) for the third consecutive academic year!
The VFS program, established in 2015, acknowledges schools committed to supporting the needs of veterans and military-connected students. The MVAA awards these institutions gold, silver or bronze level status based on their veteran-focused services and programs.
In addition to this honor, Military Times named Cleary “Best for Vets” for the third consecutive year. Cleary was one of only 12 colleges in Michigan to earn this national ranking. To determine who receives this award, Military Times looks at services and practical information colleges across the entire United States offer to veterans that will help them make important decisions about their career planning and how to use the education benefits they earned through military service. This ranking by Military Times is considered the largest and most comprehensive annual list recognizing the top colleges and universities for military service members and veterans.
Brian Love, MVAA director, acknowledges Cleary for its efforts that “play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for veterans and service members. We are incredibly grateful to veteran-friendly schools for their exemplary dedication and commitment to supporting and empowering military-connected learners. The guidance and resources from academic institutions like Cleary is a game changer for our veterans.”
According to a Military Times spokesperson, the organization has earned its reputation as the “ultimate and trusted source” for veterans and their families. For veterans seeking “genuine, reliable and comprehensive information, Military Times stands as the beacon of trust, offering invaluable insights to empower veterans in making informed decisions for their future.”
“Cleary University’s focus is to provide extensive resources and an affordable, quality education for our veterans and members of the military in appreciation for their service to our country,” announces Jeremy Walker, senior vice president of Enrollment Management at Cleary University and a USMC veteran. “Our goal is to help these individuals achieve their academic and professional goals quickly, easily, flexibly, affordably and conveniently.”
