Christopher S. Fergus, P.S. retires after 45 years with Boss Engineering

Chris Fergus has announced his retirement from Boss Engineering, effective May 8, 2026.  Mr. Fergus initially joined the survey department at Boss Engineering in April of 1979.  It is rumored that he was recruited not only to help out in surveying, but also for his athletic skills so he could play on the company basketball and softball teams.  He has held multiple positions in the company, including Operations Manager of the previous Oakland County office and most recently as the Director of Surveying.  He has also served as a Senior Associate for the past two decades.

There was a brief gap in Chris’ employment in the early 1980s.  He returned to Boss Engineering in May of 1985 and has spent his career leading, mentoring and caring for his fellow employees.  In retirement, Chris intends to travel some with his wife Gisele and spend more time with his grandchildren.  The Boss Engineering family wishes Chris and Gisele a healthy and happy retirement.
